The Ritz Carlton Tysons (as popularly called) is a “top-shelf” business and leisure hotel located about 15 minutes from Washington Dulles International Airport. This Northern Virginia luxury property is directly connected to the famous Tysons Galleria which offer best of shopping, dining, entertainment, and lots more.

To better positioned us for our Emirates First Class flight from Dulles Int’l Airport to Dubai on our way to Maldives, we spent a night here at The Ritz Carlton Tysons Corner. And in all honesty, this Category 5 Marriott Bonvoy brand delivered nothing but a top-notch service.
Since this was a weekend stay, it cost us an extra 5K points more than the typical 35K points for standard rate, but the entire experience we had during our stay was way more than the 40,000 Marriott Bonvoy points we used for the booking. From the bellmen to the valet staff, and the front desk attendants, every one of them gave us a warm welcome and were friendly and professional.

One of the highlights of this stay was the Suite Upgrade prior to our arrival. And since this was part of our honeymoon trip, we received a handwritten congratulatory note (you know I love those handwritten welcome notes), champagne in the suite on arrival, a $30 food & beverage credit even though we booked on points, and most importantly, a dedicated bellman-turned-butler.
Like many of the other Ritz Carlton hotels I’ve stayed at, the suite was very modern, yet classy, and had plenty of space.
The marble bathroom in our 1 Bedroom Suite at the Ritz Carlton Tysons featured a walk-in shower, separate bathtub, and Babor amenity products. Although you’ll find only the Asprey London Purple Water bath products at most Ritz Carlton hotels worldwide. The towels in the bathroom were very lush with a feel of luxury.
My wife also commended the hotel for having a hair straightener in the bathroom. Usually, most hotels provide hair dryer in the bathroom, but providing hair straighteners in the bathroom is another great touch from The Ritz Carlton Tysons.

To utilize the $30 credit we received, we ordered some quick bites at the Entyse Restaurant for In-Room Dining. The prices on the menu were quite reasonable for a Ritz Carlton hotel located just a few minutes away from Metro Washington DC.
Bottom line:
The Ritz Carlton Tysons Corner provided exceptional service during our stay. For us, it wasn’t just about the complimentary suite upgrade, but the acts of service we saw firsthand from many of the staff we encountered. We have just found a new favorite hotel in the area, and we can’t wait to be back soon.
