Lounge Review: The CLUB at SEA
The Club at Seattle Tacoma International Airport is a contemporary airport lounge. A member of Priority Pass program, which is located at Concourse A and the South Concourse. This lounge is also contracted to some airlines like Aer Lingus, Eva Air, Japan Airlines (JAL), Norwegian, Xiamen Air, etc.
This review is based on one out of the 2 The Club lounges at SeaTac airport. The lounge is located at Concourse A, across Gate A11, and opened from 5am till midnight. As a Priority Pass member, you can bring in 2 additional guests. The lounge is also accessible if you are a member of Diners Club, Lounge Key, Lounge Club, etc. The lounge also offers Day Passes for purchase.
Signage outside the lounge
There’s a stairs with properly visible signs that directs you to where the lounge is located upstairs. There’s also an elevator right next to the stairs.

Check in was prompt, with a friendly and courteous attendant at the service desk.
The lounge is very quiet and peaceful. Although it feels narrow the moment you walk in, but it gets wider towards the middle of the lounge. There were a lot of seating areas with many of the seats having side tables. The seats were arranged in such a way that they were facing or backing one another, with the buffet and snacks area by the wall.
There’s a Franke A600 coffee machine with lots of varieties. Lots of varieties since this machine has option for hot chocolate, something some of the other lounges doesn’t. There are also variety of teas next to the coffee machine.

Although there wasn’t much hot-food available at this lounge, but there’s a breakfast protein wrap, and the lounge also offer varieties of snacks, oatmeal, fresh fruits, probiotic parfaits, and cookies. There’s also a station for nuts, candies, and mints. There’s another station for Power Breakfast Kale salad which looked really attractive.
While the lounge was not at its full capacity, I found it to be really peaceful and quiet even with the amount of people present during my visit.
There’s a refrigerator with can sodas that you can even take out with you. And everything at the bar is all complimentary.

Why You SHOULD NOT Visit The Club at SEA (South Satellite)
The lounge has a business center area, where you can take / make calls, and as well get some work done. There’s also another quiet room, like a conference room inside the business center should you want more privacy or quietness.

There are multiple clocks mounted on the wall showing current time at different countries and timezone.
Although the restroom at this lounge looks clean and well taken care of, this restroom would benefit from using automatic flush system. As this is 2020, and so many people are used to not having to flush after urinating.
Although The Club at Seattle does not have its own personal WiFi, it uses the free SeaTac Airport WiFi. But, one thing that surprised me was the speed of the free WiFi at Seattle Tacoma Airport (SEA). The download speed was 192.86Mbps, while the upload speed was as high as 107.67Mbps. This is a relatively high speed free internet, and kudos to the Seattle Airport authority for this.
In Conclusion:
This is a nice, quiet, and peaceful airport lounge in my own opinion. Being a Priority Pass lounge with all the amenities and plenty of room, this is really a lounge one can visit and be sure of some quality time before departure.
The lounge staff are very friendly, and the servers are always ready to take your dishes and also wipe your tables as soon as you’re done eating. Although it would be nice if some hot food is provided.
But overall, The Club at Seattle is an okay lounge where you can use your priority pass card to have some quick snacks and quality time before your flight.
And while we are not comparing this lounge to the Centurion Lounge by American Express that is always crowded, or the 15,800 square feet brand new Alaska Airlines Lounge that lacks a single shower, all I’m trying to say here is that this lounge is actually a nice lounge that offers great services. Especially since all food and drinks are complimentary at this lounge.
Have you been to this lounge? I’d love to read your experience.
