Le MERIDIEN Dallas by The Galleria
I recently had a five-night that turned one-night stay at the Le Meridien Dallas by the Galleria, but though it was just a night stay, I was able to take couple of pictures and also make some videos.
Again, one of the best benefits I have enjoyed from having elite status is being able to check in as early as 8am. I have done this several times than I can remember. I literally just put 8am as my check in time when I check in from the app 48 hours before arrival.
This is an all-suite hotel, meaning all rooms at this hotel have separate sitting area. I had booked a Junior Suite 1 King room type, and at check in, I was upgraded to an Executive Suite which in my opinion didn’t feel like an upgrade. I think the only difference between the Junior Suite and the Executive Suite is the view.

Since this hotel does not have a concierge lounge, I selected breakfast as my Welcome Gift, as I wanted to have an idea of what their breakfast looks and tastes like. In my own opinion, the breakfast was just subpar. It’s nothing to write home about. Limited options, really nothing special.

One of my best features of the hotel is the Pool. The Pool Spa like looks elegant, especially with the mood/disco lights on.

At bedtime, I tucked myself into the luxurious robe provided in the room. I found the bed to be very comfortable, and I indeed got a good night sleep.

Bottomline:
I found the hotel to be in a strategic location. Since it’s located right by the Galleria, there are tons of restaurant and shopping options. While I didn’t like the fact that a dirty towel was waiting for me in the room I was checked in to, I did like the fact that the room and the hotel generally is well taken care of. I also don’t see why the hotel is charging for parking (at least $20/night) when it can be provided as complimentary. But I like the fact that there are plenty street parking options around the hotel. I used one of those street parking.
Will I stay there again?
Maybe. As long as I have exhausted all my other options around the hotel first. But in conclusion, the hotel is an okay one IMO.
