Nestled in the heart of bustling New York Midtown Manhattan, the Conrad New York Midtown is one of the esteemed Hilton luxury brands. Our recent stay at this exquisite hotel provided a window into the art of refined living in the city that never sleeps.

Checking-In:
Upon arriving in the afternoon, we were immediately impressed by the attentive service as we handed our rental car, a Range Rover Velar, to the valet. The check-in process was a breeze, and the front desk attendant that checked us in was courteous and efficient. We were promptly led to our room by a bellman who also doubled as a luggage assistant.
To recognize my wife’s Hilton Diamond status, the hotel’s hospitality shone through with a heartwarming welcome gift. A lovely assortment of fresh fruits and delectable Conrad branded chocolates awaited us, accompanied by two bottles of S. Pellegrino sparkling water, which we exchanged champagne for. This thoughtful gesture emphasized the hotel’s commitment to providing a personalized and delightful experience to their loyal guests.
The One Bedroom Suite:
Our One Bedroom Suite with a city view effortlessly blended luxury with practicality. It offered an ample space for New York standard, complete with a separate sitting area. The living room showcased a well-placed sofa, accompanied by elegant lamps on each side of the sofa, a leather-padded coffee table, and an intimate dining table for two.

The room’s curated artworks adorned the walls, while a generously sized TV and a tasteful TV console rounded off the aesthetic.
The suite also featured a fully stocked mini fridge, neatly tucked in a hallway, with an array of beverages including sodas, water, beer, wine, and champagne, along with a selection of liquors. In case you don’t know, the mini bar items were available at a separate cost, not all-inclusive.
Tucked in the cupboard above the mini fridge is a coffee machine and an assortment of teas which added to the suite’s allure. There are also snacks like pringles, cookies, nuts, and so on, which again, are not free.
The bedroom boasted a King size bed with nightstand on each side, a leather bedroom bench, alarm clocks, a telephone, and a bedroom TV for convenience.

The bathroom, larger than expected for a New York City 1 bedroom apartment, featured a single vanity sink and a walk-in shower, stocked with lavish bath products, hair dryer, bathrobe, and ample towels.
Other Amenities:
The inclusion of additional bathrobe and slippers in the suite provided a touch of indulgence throughout our stay at Conrad New York Midtown. An extra duvet was thoughtfully placed for the convenience of any additional guests spending the night on the sofa. While the hotel might not offer the quintessential Manhattan skyline views, the vistas from our suite were nevertheless captivating, adding to the overall charm of the stay.
Booking:
Our stay, a heartfelt birthday treat from my darling wife, was a fully cash-rate reservation without any reliance on points or promotional discounts. The One Bedroom Suite with a City View, priced at approximately $650 per night, though pricey, but delivered exceptional value for a luxurious experience.
Elite Recognition:
Apart from the Welcome Gift, we also received some other benefits courtesy of Mrs. The Points Engineer’s Hilton Diamond status. For breakfast the following morning, we opted for the privacy and convenience of In-Room Dining rather than eating at the hotel restaurant during this our stay at the Conrad New York Midtown.
Overall Impression:
Our stay at Conrad New York Midtown left a lasting impression. The effortless check-in, and elegant suite, with considerate amenities all contributed to a memorable experience. The personal touch of the welcome gift, along with the aesthetics of the suite, made our stay exceptional.
